My best friend since kindergarten, Melissa, recently got married {there we are together in the top photograph}. As her matron of honor, I had the fabulous privilege of planning her bachelorette party in Chicago, where we both grew up. We kicked the night off with fruit and cheese before dinner at a hotel downtown, and then proceeded to paint the town! The attire for guests was all black, and the bride was “all dressed in white.” This color scheme was the perfect palette for the zebra accents and pops of pink accents, like hanging tissue poms and pink bubbly to sip. I actually got the great idea from Kristen’s 40th Birthday party to have guests pose with a frame in photographs. So, after flying in to Chicago the night before the party you can definitely believe I went exploring the depths of my parents’ basement in search of the perfect old frame that could be prettied-up with pink paint. Bridesmaids Jenni, Anne, Kristen {also pictured}, the rest of the bridesmaids and other guests had a blast, and the best part is that the bride did too!
