Our super crafty and talented intern was at it again and decorated these adorably chic masquerade masks in honor of the upcoming Mardi Gras holiday. So whether you’ll be attending a party or just want to spice up Fat Tuesday at the office, making your own mask will be so simple.
First, just download the mask outlines here and here. Then, get to decorating!
Each handheld mask has a ribbon-wrapped wood craft dowel hot glued to the backside. On the more formal gold toned mask, Morgan painted decoupage glue then coated it in gold glitter. To accent the mask, she tied a large chiffon bow and glued it to the front right side.
The funky, hot pink version features a painted purple outline. Silver metallic shred and white boa feathers were stapled to the back. The painted pink base was also coated with a layer of decoupage and topped with iridescent sprinkles for added pizazz.
