Theme Party Thursday: Tea Party Birthday

Little girls will adore a tea party theme for their upcoming birthday party, especially if they love to get dressed in their finest for an afternoon of fun and fancy. Party guests can be greeted at the door with a collection of dress-up clothes {including hats, lace gloves and paper fans}, so they’re certain to be dressed properly for high tea, of course. And they may even all like to have an etiquette lesson because, after all, a tea party is definitely the time to show off your best manners! Organize a game of musical chairs or pass a sugar cube around the table using only a teaspoon. Make sure the girls have plenty of time to snack on finger sandwiches and petit fours and sip their tea {or fill tea cups with juice, flavored water or milk instead}. Cheers to a lovely tea party!
